Incentive to Buenos Aires
5 Days / 4 Nights

Buenos Aires, the cosmopolitan capital city of Argentina, is situated on the western coast of the Rio de La Plata, it was founded in 1580 by Juan de Garay and was named "Nuestra Señora de los Buenos Ayres". Today it has a population of 12 million inhabitants. From the historic San Telmo and Montserrat districts and the colorful italian quarter of La Boca to the French architectural style of Palermo and Recoleta. Buenos Aires has got everything: nigth-life, tango, culture, sports, shopping areas, the best beef and excellent local wines as well as international cuisine.

DESCRIPTION OF BUENOS AIRES
Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings have come to be the historic area of Buenos Aires. The Presidential Palace called Casa Rosada, is situated where the fortress of Buenos Aires once was; the historic Cabildo is kept untouched though reduced in size; the Cathedral, where San Martín, one of the liberators of South America, is buried; and other majestic buildings are sites of the most important political events of this country. The Congressional hall, a superb neo-classical edifice, was built with perspective that it can be seen from almost 1.23 miles away. La Recoleta, an exclusive neighborhood with European reminiscences, refined houses and buildings of modern architecture, creates a climate of refinement in its cafes, tearooms, restaurants and antiquarians.
The heart of the city is always in movement. Finance and commerce, cinemas, theaters and the most varied range of artistic activities are mixed together in this city. Its pedestrian precinct, Florida and Lavalle street, present the tourist with much of what Argentina has to offer. Corrientes, "the street that never sleeps", the cradle of tango, the street of cinemas, theaters, cafes, restaurants and bookshops, is the entertainment center where it is always possible to find something to do. San Telmo neighborhood, a blend of colonial times and those of the emancipation, shows buildings of both periods. To the south of San Telmo, there is the old port district of La Boca. Mostly italian, it is a picturesque place with cobblestone street, irregular sidewalks and gaily painted quaint wooden houses. Its most interesting places are Vuelta de Rocha, which provides an impressive view of the port and the Old Bridge and Caminito, an ancient railroad transformed into a pedestrian street. To the north, Barrio Norte, Palermo and Belgrano are residential areas that keep testimonies of past Buenos Aires grandeur, which, now combined with modern architectural buildings and outstanding shops give evidence of the already known porteño elegance. This characteristic is also appreciated further north, bordering the Rio de la Plata, in the residential areas of Vicente Lopez, Olivos, La Lucila, Martinez, San Isidro up the Delta of the Parana River.
