The Old City, the New City and the Open City complete the "city on the beach" as it is usually called this beautiful and peaceful town of exceptional climate and highly-educated people.

Tour description: Departure from the pier to visit to Uruguay's capital city: Montevideo. See the old Montevideo main highlights including the Independence Square, Plaza Matriz (Cathedral square), the Old Town Hall, Solis Theatre and the Cathedral. Visit the Legislative Palace (Congress) and then climb up to Montevideo Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the bay and the city. Drive along United Nations Avenue, a picturesque riverside boulevard toward Carrasco residential area. Return to the pier.
