Route of Navigation Classic Route: Skorpios II
6 Days / 5 Nights
Puerto Montt / Glaciar San Rafael / Puerto Montt


Day 1: Saturday

12:00 hrs. We sail from the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Montt through the Llanquihue archipelago. Sighting of the city of Calbuco, Gulf of Ancud, Chiloé Archipelago, crossing the Corcovdado Gulf at midnight.

Day 2: Sunday
08:00 hrs. We sail the Moraleda and Ferrnoave Channels. Landing at Puerto Aguirre at 11:00 hrs. One and a half hours in this fishing village.
12:30 hrs. We sail through the Ferronave, Pilcomayo and Costa Channels. Setting anchor at approximately 21:30 hrs. in Caleta Hualas or Punta Leopardos, 20 miles from the San Rafael Glacier.

Day 3: Monday
07:30 hrs. We sail through the San Rafael inlet and Témpanos Channel. 09:00 hrs. We enter the Lagoon and let anchor 2 km from the Glacier. Weather permitting, motorboat excursion among multicoloured ice floes. 15:30 hrs. The ship sail to the Glacier at 15:39 hrs. and leaves for Quitralco Fjord at 17:00 hrs.

Day 4: Tuesday
08:00: Quitralco pier. After breakfast, the passengers can bathe in the hot springs in covered or open air pools with temperatures ranging from 36º, 32º and 30º. Weather permitting, we provide motorboat excursions to the inner Fjord.
18:00 hrs.: sailing for Chiloé, sailing the Moraleda and Pérez Norte channels.

Day 5: Wednesday
8:00 hrs. Leucayec Channel, partial view of Melinka in the Chonos archipelago; this island was a pirate hideout in the past. Crossing the Corcovado Gulf to go on sailing along the eastern coast of Chiloé, Yal Channel, Castro estuary, reaching this beautiful city as 15:00 hrs. Visit to Castro, 22:00 hrs. sailing for Puerto Montt. Lemuy, Dalclahue, Quicavi, Channels. Farewell party. Captain's dinner.

Day 6: Thursday
08:00 hrs. Breakfast, while the ship is moored at the Skorpios Terminal pier. 09:00 disembarkation and transfer of passengers.

Childrens Rate:

From 1 to 5 years old: Free sharing bed
From 6 to 11 years old: 50% discount for children sharing cabin with two adults.
From 12 years up: Normal rate.
Sailing time:
According to Skorpios Cruises program, the sailing is at12:00 noon on Saturdays. Passengers should be on boardone hour before the sailing.
Transfers:
Transfers for the embarkation date (Friday and Saturday)and disembarkation date (Thursday), from El Tepual Airportin Puerto Montt and the Skorpios Terminal, cost USD 40 perpassenger, round trip and USD 20 per passenger one way.
