13 Days / 12 Nights

Day 1 - San Jose
Arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. Transfer to your hotel in San Jose. Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Tortuguero
Departure from San Jose taking the Braulio Carrillo Highway to the Limón Province driving along the Braulio Carrillo National Park, where you will be able to contemplate the rainforest and the beautiful " Rio Sucio". Breakfast in route. We continue our journey with a boat ride through Tortuguero National Park Canals known as the Amazon of Costa Rica. Arrival to the hotel to enjoy your lunch. Afternoon tour to Tortuguero Village and visit the turtle Museum, experience the locals´ way of life and maybe buy some souvenirs from the place. Return to the hotel. Hotel Laguna Lodge or similar (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Tortuguero National Park
Boat ride through the Canals to observe the wildlife that inhabits this protected area such as monkeys, hundreds of birds, caimans as well as the magnificent vegetation that surrounds the park. Free afternoon, optional activities: canopy, hiking to Tortuguero jungle, turtle nesting (only during the season). (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Tortuguero / Sarapiqui
Breakfast, departure by boat to the Bus them Transfer to Sarapiqui area. Lunch on route. Arrival to hotel, free afternoon, you will explore the area or relax at the hotel. Hotel La Quinta Sarapiquí or similar (B,L)

Day 5 - Sarapiqui
After breakfast; prepare yourself for an exciting rafting trip on Sarapiquí River. An unforgettable experience. After the adventure, you will have some free time to relax and enjoy a well deserve lunch at the Hotel. Lodging (B,L)

Day 6 - Sarapiqui / Arenal Volcano
After breakfast, transfer to La Fortuna town on the slopes of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Afternoon arrival to hotel. At night you will appreciate, if the weather allows, the incredible lava eruptions and incandescent rock explosions - unforgettable natural fireworks displays. Hotel Arenal Springs or similar (B)

Day 7 - Arenal Volcano
Breakfast, leisure day to relax or enjoy the hotel facilities; Explore the area or joined optional activities: La Fortuna Waterfalls are highly recommended as well as the Canopy tour. During the afternoon, the thermal waters of the hotel would be a great way to relax and rest. (B)

Day 8 - Arenal / Monteverde
Breakfast, transfer to Arenal Lake for a boat ride to "Rio Chiquito" a great chance to admire amazing landscapes. Then, land transfer to Monteverde. Arrival to the hotel in Monteverde, spend two nights in this peaceful and beautiful region. Free afternoon for an optional activities, the Butterfly Garden and the Serpentarium are highly recommended option. Hotel El Establo or similar (B)

Day 9 - Monteverde
Breakfast. Pick Up and transfer to the Hanging Bridges Tour where you would be able to admire the beauty of the Cloud Forest from the top the trees. Free afternoon to enjoy optional activities such as visit to Monteverde Reserve or the Canopy Tour. (B)

Day 10 - Monteverde / Rincon de la Vieja
Breakfast. Departure to Rincón de la Vieja Volcano an area whit a great biological variety and hypnotic beauty. Arrival to Hacienda Guachipelín Lodge or similar. Free afternoon to explore the hacienda on your own and breathe some good fresh air. (B)

Day 11 - Rincon de la Vieja
Breakfast. Horseback Ride tour visit to Rincón de la Vieja National Park and Oropéndola Waterfalls. At the end of the trip and for your own relaxation, you will visit the thermal waters where you will be able to enjoy the treatment offered by the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the area. (B)

Day 12 - Rincon de la Vieja / San Jose
Morning at leisure. At the afternoon, transfer back to San José. Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar. (B)

Day 13
Breakfast. According to schedule, transfer hotel - Airport (B)
