12 Days / 11 Nights

Day 1 - San Jose
Arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. Greetings and transfer to your hotel in San Jose. Best Western Irazu Hotel or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Sarapiqui
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Sarapiqui area. Overnight at Quinta Sarapiquí Hotel or similar. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities. (B)

Day 3 - Sarapiqui
After breakfast; prepare yourself for an exciting rafting trip on Sarapiquí River. Unforgettable experience. After the adventure, you will have some free time to relax and enjoy a well deserved lunch at the hotel, Lodging. (B)

Day 4 - Sarapiqui / Arenal Volcano
After breakfast, at the designated time, you will be picked up at the lobby of the hotel and transferred to La Fortuna town on the slopes of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Afternoon arrival to Los Lagos Hotel or similar. At night and from your hotel you will be able to appreciate, if the weather allows, the incredible eruptions of lava streams and incandescent rock explosions – unforgettable natural fireworks displays. (B)

Day 5 - Arenal Volcano
Breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time, you will be picked up for exiting Arenal Volcano Hike and Hot Springs. During the afternoon, the hotel would be a great way to relax and rest by the facilities.(B)

Day 6 - Arenal / Monteverde
After a good breakfast, departure to Arenal Lake for a boat ride to “Rio Chiquito” a great chance to admire amazing landscapes. Then, land transfer to Monteverde. Arrival to Hotel El Heliconia or similar. At an altitude of over 4000 feet above sea level, the tropical woods have their special smell, the air is clear and fresh, the world seems to stand still and the nearby villages and farms appear to be a tropical version of the mountains of Switzerland. Free afternoon for an optional tour. The Butterfly Garden and the Serpentarium are highly recommended. (B)

Day 7 - Monteverde
Breakfast included at the hotel. Pick Up and transfer to Monteverde Biological Reserve where you would be able to admire the beauty of the Cloud Forest and all the hidden secrets of nature. (B)

Day 8 - Monteverde / Manuel Antonio
Breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time, transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park area, located in the South Pacific. Arrival to Parador Hotel (or similar). Free time to enjoy the area. (B)

Day 9 - Manuel Antonio
Breakfast. During the day, visit the beautiful National Park. White sand beaches, cliffs, rivers, rainforest, a great variety of fauna and warm weather, are some of the components of this Park. Inside the forest, where some of the trees reach great heights, you can observe several species of monkeys and sloth’s, as well as different species of birds. The surrounding islands are highly important ecosystems providing a home for marine birds. Return to the hotel. (B)

Day 10 - Manuel Antonio / San Jose
Free morning. During the afternoon and at the designated time transfer back to San Jose. Arrival Costa Ricas’ Capital. Lodging at Best Western Irazú or similar. (B)

Day 11 - La Paz Waterfall / Cofee Plantations & Poas Volcano
The Poas Volcano is one of the world’s largest geysers with an awesome crater, over 1.5 km. wide!. This tour begins with a beautiful drive through the lush coffee plantations and flower farms of the area. The Poas National Park is a 9.884 acre preserve with rich tropical vegetation and animal life. The tour includes a hike through the surrounding forest that is teeming with plant life and exotic birds. The hike concludes at a restful, emerald green tropical lagoon. Also include the visit of Doka coffee fields. Lunch is included. (B,L)

Day 12
Breakfast at the Hotel, at the designated time, transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport, for your flight back home. (B)
