13 Days / 12 Nights

Day 1 - San Jose
Arrival to Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose. Greetings and transfer to Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Limon
Breakfast and departure to the beautiful area of the Caribbean. On the way you will pass through the rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park until arrival to Sarapiquí River, be prepare for an exciting rafting trip, an unforgettable experience, or if you prefer, you can go on a small boat by quiet waters. At the end of the trip, land transfer to the Hotel. Hotel Maribú or similar (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Gandoca Manzanillo or Cahuita National Park
Alter breakfast a visit to Gandoca Manzanillo or Cahuita National Park (your choice) where you would be able to enjoy the exotic splendor of the fauna and flora of the region. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Limon / Tortuguero National Park
Breakfast and departure to Tortuguero National Park. We will continue on boat through the Cannals to finally arrive to Tortuguero area. At the afternoon is the tour to Tortuguero village where you will be visiting the Turtle Museum and the option to buy souvenirs from the area. Hotel Laguna Lodge or similar (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Tortuguero National Park
During the day, a boat ride through the smalls Canals, this to observe the variety of wildlife on this protected area such as monkeys, hundreds of birds, caimans as well as the magnificent vegetation that surrounds the park. At the afternoon is time for optional activities as the canopy, hiking to Tortuguero jungle or the turtle nesting tour (only open during the season). (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Tortuguero National Park / Arenal Volcano
Breakfast. Departure to La Fortuna village, located in Arenal Volcano slopes. Lunch on route. At night and from the hotel you will be able to appreciate, if the weather conditions allow, the incredible eruptions of lava streams and incandescent rock, unforgettable natural fireworks displays. Hotel Arenal Springs or similar (B,L)

Day 7 - Arenal Volcano
Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore the area and for optional activities like the tour to La Fortuna Waterfalls or the Canopy tour, or a horseback ride along forest trails are good options too. During the afternoon, you can relax at the hot springs of Arenal. (B)

Day 8 - Arenal / Monteverde
Breakfast. Departure to Arenal Lake for a boat ride across the lake to "Rio Chiquito" a great chance to enjoy of amazing landscapes and then transfer to Monteverde. Free afternoon for optional tour, the Butterfly Garden and the Serpentarium are highly recommended. Hotel El Establo or similar (B)

Day 9 - Monteverde
Breakfast. Departures to Monteverde Biological Reserve Tour, a truly tropical paradise cause its natural diversity. Transfer back to the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy optional we could recommend the Hanging Bridges tour where you will be able to see the beauty of the rainforest from the top of the trees or for the adventurous a Canopy tour could be great choice, slide through cables on the top of trees. (B)

Day 10 - Monteverde / Rincon de la Vieja
Breakfast. Departure to Rincón de la Vieja Volcano area, place with a great biological diversity and fascinating beauty. Free afternoon to enjoy the area and breathe the fresh air in the hacienda. Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín or similar (B)

Day 11 - Rincon de la Vieja
Breakfast. Horseback Ride to visit the Rincón de la Vieja National Park and the Oropéndola Waterfalls. At the end relax and visit the hot springs waters to enjoy of the volcanic mud treatment offered by the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the area (B)

Day 12 - Rincon de la Vieja / San Jose
Morning at leisure. At the afternoon transfer back to San José.

Day 13
Breakfast. According to schedule transfer from the hotel to San José International Airport. (B)
