Three Jewels of South America
8 Days / 7 Nights
Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Foz de Iguazu

There are many highlights to South America but this trip features the top three!
While Rio de Janeiro is famous for its gorgeous landscapes and exotic culture, and Buenos Aires for being the chic "Paris of the Americas," Foz de Iguaçu is famous for being one of the world's largest waterfalls and a splendid example of the power and majestic beauty of nature on the South American Continent.

Day 1
Depart for South America!

Day 2

Day 3
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of the City! This exciting excursion takes you to see the famous Plazo de Mayo and the Casa Rosada (Pink House), the Cabildo (Town Hall), and the historic Metropolitan Cathedral. We will next continue on to the old quarter of the city, San Telmo, then on to La Boca district, famous for its colorful tin houses, and then finally to the important Recoleta Cemetery where Evita Peron is buried. These are just a few of the many highlights that will amaze and delight you!

Day 4
After an enjoyable breakfast, transfer to the International airport for a short flight to the impressive Foz de Iguaçu! Upon arrival transfer from the airport to your Hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy a half-day tour around the Brazilian side of the falls. You can walk through several trails that take you to fabulous recesses and footbridges that extend almost 1 mile bringing you close to the mightiest and most spectacular site in South America.

Day 5
After a delicious tropical style buffet breakfast, we will have a full day visit of the Argentinean side of the Waterfalls & Itaipu Dam. You will have the chance during the passage towards the Argentine side to cross a bridge of 480 meters of extension constructed in 1985 that is known as the Bridge of Brotherhood. Visitors arrive in the Iguaçu National park through a Visitors Center equipped with an optimal structure: rest rooms, first aid room and plaques that illustrate the spectacular biodiversity of the park. From here, we start off through two eco-stations via ecological trains, specially prepared for low environmental impact tourism. The duration of each train is approximately 20 minutes. The first visit is of the superior part, and then we will move to the inferior or lower part before reaching the impressive gorge and waterfall called "The Devil's Throat." From the Argentine side, you will have a direct view, maybe the best view of the day of the 200 waterfalls that make up the Foz de Iguaçu waterfalls. And finally, we continue to our last stop at the Itaipu Dam, where the magnitude of development is surrounded by pristine beauty and has raised worldwide attention turning the Itaipu power station into one of the main tourism attractions in the Foz do Iguaçu area.
