The rooms are comfortable, rustic wooden bungalows, built over the water
with a capacity of 2 to 4 persons.
Hotel Catamarán has 31 rooms of which 11 are air-conditioned. The rest
of the rooms receive natural breeze from the river-side and also have
ceiling and table fans.
A fully stocked bar famous for its "Piña Coladas" and "Margaritas", and
to complement your stay, the restaurant serves local and international
cuisine.

During your visit
at the Catamarán you can enjoy swimming, tennis, hiking, hand-line fishing,
bird watching or just relax under a palm tree. For the adventurer, Río
Dulce has several places to visit like the Río Dulce Gorge, the Caribbean
sea at Livingston, the Seven Altar Waterfalls, El Paraíso and its hot
waterfall, Manatí and the Howling Monkey reserves, The Chocon-Machaca
Biological Reserves and its lagoons.
Río Dulce is famous for receiving sailboats from all over the world. They
enjoy anchoring and visiting the tropical habitat. If you do not have
your own boat, there are several in the area to rent. You can take a boat
ride up the river with a guide who will explain all the spectacular sights
to see such as hot water springs. The canoe trips are another option in
visitng the area and it will give you a different perspective of the river
and the life in it.
